Used Forklift Forks

Forklift forks that are on a forklift that is used regularly should be inspected daily and every six months.

The foklift forks should be looked at daily by the operator. This is done during the pre-startup check. During this visual inspection the forklift operator should pay special attention to and cracks or signs of deformation.

Forklift forks that are regularly used should be inspected at least every six months also. Depending on the usage this may need to be performed more often. During this inspection the forklifts that are used should be inspected more thoroughly for cracks and/or deformation.
